This is the most effective defense system of its kind.  It completely incapacitates an attacker with just one shot.  Guns have a 75% rate of incapacitating attacker, even though most of the time, it usually results in death.

However, it has almost a 90% rate in knocking down attackers. Unlike guns, the DDS works no matter where it is shot, is non-lethal and leaves no permanent damage,  even when it  used on people with heart problems and pacemakers.  Maces and pepper sprays only work when it is sprayed directly in the eyes.  If an attacker wears glasses, closes his eyes, of if the attacker  turns his head around.

Even if it is sprayed in the eyes, it doesn't  stop the attacker,  but only brings  pain or  discomfort to the attacker.  The Dual Defense System however can completely incapacitate an attacker.
